All scholarship recipients and their families are expected to volunteer each season. There are plenty of opportunities throughout the year. Regular opportunities include:
Tent Staffing: Throughout the Winter season, we need parent volunteers to help us set-up, staff, and break down our tent in the Village. Volunteers will help us share the PTCF story and engage our community by serving coffee, selling merchandise, and talking with fellow community members.
Events: A lot goes into hosting our events, particularly Peak 2 Peak. As we schedule events, we will need parent and athlete help to set-up, engage day-of, and break down. Opportunities range from a few hours to all day, depending on the event and activity.
Host a “Friendraiser”: New this year, we welcome families to host small, at-home gatherings to build community and promote the great work of PTCF. If you are interested in promoting and supporting PTCF by opening your home to a small group of snow loving friends, please let us know!
Thank You Notes: We are fortunate to have a great donor base and we want to show our gratitude. There is nothing like a handwritten thank you note. We periodically ask that athletes write thank you notes on behalf of PTCF to our donors.
Please check back often as we update our volunteer opportunities regularly once the season begins. If you would like to volunteer or if you have questions about the volunteer program, please contact us at email@example.com.
